We have been investigating shapes. In groups we had to make
shapes using pieces of elastic. We discovered it was very difficult to make a
circle – we needed the hands of the whole class to help make the many points of
the circle.

| We then played a game where we had to guess the shape in the feely bag before we took it out to look at it. We had to feel the edges and consider the number of sides and corners. |
