Counting song

It is important we can count but we need to know exactly what the number looks like.  Practise your counting at home.

Alphabet song...

In Room 2 we are working hard to learn the alphabet letter names and sounds the letters make.  This will help us with our reading and writing especially when we sound out tricky words.

Team Kea

This year the little Year 1's will be known as Team Kea.

Welcome to 2014!

Kia ora and welcome to 2014.  We have had our first week at school and what a busy week we have had.  We have started school with 14 children and our class continues to grow.

This week we have been learning about the letter C.  Keep practising writing it and don't forget the sound.
