TOP BANANAS...

We won the TOP BANANA award from Miss Erakovic for being an awesome little class at Science and Technology.  Miss Best was super proud of us and so are we.  We are the BEST class!

Friday Maths

On Friday we solved a problem for poor Mother Bear.

Mother bear has 5 baby bear cubs.  She is going to make each a coat.  She needs 3 buttons per coat.
How many will she need?

Our 5 baby bears each got 3 buttons

We counted how many she needed.

She needs 15 buttons.

Kia ora,

I am Miss Best I will be teaching your child this year.  So far we have 11 children in room 2 but this will soon change when more children have their 5th birthdays.  We will have up to 20 kids in our class!

So far your lovely child has been learning all about the routines of school and has been doing a fantastic job!
