PCS - Race relations day

At PCS we had race relations day - we looked amazing.  We wore clothes that represented our culture.  We wore Samoan clothes, Fijian clothes, Indian clothes, Maori clothes, Black and White for NZ, Cook Island clothes, Tongan clothes and Niuean clothes.  We have many different cultures in our class.  We are all beautiful!

Look at our Maori Princess - Kaila.
Her Whanau helped to make this for her - Ka Pai!

On Friday we solved a problem for poor Mother Bear.

Mother bear has 5 baby bear cubs.  She is going to make each a coat.  She needs 3 buttons per coat.
How many will she need?

Our 5 baby bears each got 3 buttons

We counted how many she needed.
She needs 15 buttons.
